EDUCATING THE FUTURE LEADERS OF ETHICAL FASHION

In today's rapidly evolving fashion industry, companies are increasingly seeking qualified candidates to help them navigate the ever-changing sustainable landscape. The next generation of workers will need to help companies succeed despite the challenges of stricter regulations, raw materials shortages, volatile weather patterns, and increased energy costs.

She offers workshops and programs designed to cultivate life-long leaders who are confident, creative and capable to continuously address the unforeseen challenges and opportunities of the future.

Carmen Artigas spearheaded the sustainable design curricula and undergraduate programs at three major design universities: Fashion Institute of Technology, Parsons the New School for Design, and Pratt Institute. Her experience in sustainability and the education field will help ensure student preparedness for employment.

The courses she developed for the Sustainable Design Entrepreneur certificate at the Fashion Institute of Technology continue to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to drive sustainable innovation in fashion.
